Gandhinagar: Three people involved in the Pathalgadi movement in Jharkhand have been detained by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) in Gujarat for “trying to provoke the people”. Government in Vyara and Mahisagar.
The accused have been identified Samu Orea, Birsa Oreya and Babita Kachhap.
Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) said in a statement, Samu Oraiya, Birsa Oreya and Babita Kachhap who were involved in the Pathalgadi movement in Jharkhand were detained.
The ATS said, “They were trying to incite people against the present government in Vyara and Mahisagar in Gujarat. They were instigating the people of ATS.”
The special force also said that they were trying to raise money Pathalgadi movement.
Pathalgadi mentioned the practice of placing stone plaques with announcements and warnings and inscribed them at the entry points of villages.
The plaques, declaring allegiance to the Constitution, carried inscriptions defying the rights of the central and state governments in the villages.
He declared Gram Sabha as the sole sovereign authority and prohibited the entry of outsiders into villages.
