The Kerala SSLC examinations started on March 10, 2020 with the first language paper -I. The examination was conducted at various centers across the state from 9.45 am. The Kerala SSLC examinations which were scheduled from 24 March to 26 had to be postponed due to the outbreak of Kovid-19 epidemic and subsequent lockdown.
Later, the pending examinations (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) resumed on 26 May and concluded on 28 May 2020. The Kerala Education Board conducted the examinations strictly following health safety standards. The students appearing for the examinations wore masks and followed the norms of social distances. Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) provided an additional 343 services for the students.
This year, more than four lakh candidates registered for Kerala SSLC examination.
