Under the new education policy, the much-awaited 10th and 12th grade board exams, considered highly stressful for students, will also be resumed. Attention will now be shifted to testing the core competencies (concepts) of the students and not in learning Ratta. It aims to promote knowledge discovery in children and help in their overall development. According to the NEP, all students will be allowed to take board exams twice during any school year, one for the main examination and one for improvement if desired.
