14 killed due to floods in MP; Army, Indian Air Force, NDRF Rescue 11,000 | India news

BHOPAL: 14 people have died in floods and incessant rains in the last two days Madhya Pradesh.
Army, Air Force, The NDRF and SDRF rescued 11,000 people and took them to temporary shelters – 257 of them had to be rescued by helicopter. In just four hours, 193 people were airlifted from Bamori and Somalwara villages in Sehore district. These included 155 women and children. Sehore Collector said, “This is probably the largest number of air defenses in the state so far.” Ajay Gupta Told TOI.
Ten people died in different districts. Authorities said most of them drowned. Four others were killed when the house collapsed.
Principal Secretary CM Manish Rastogi said, “At least 800 houses have been completely damaged and 8,000 have been partially damaged.” The most affected districts are Hoshangabad, Sehore, Raisen, Seoni, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur And Balaghat
