Ali Wazir, a parliamentarian and leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTM), was arrested in Peshawar on Wednesday (December 6th) for making hate speech while addressing a rally in Karachi.
Reacting to his arrest, the minister said he had no idea why the law enforcement agency had arrested him. “I have also been granted pre-arrest bail.”
Speaking on the occasion, MNA Mohsin Dawar said that the minister was arrested while he was leaving the APS Memorial Library.
The minister was shifted to East Kent police station after his arrest, Peshawar police said.
Later, Central City Police Office Peshawar Ali Amin Gandapur said that a case has been registered against the Prime Minister in Karachi.
