Arrest warrant issued in Laxmi Vilas sale case India News

JODHPUR: In order to give relief to the three accused in the disinvestment case of Laxmi Vilas Palace Hotel, the Rajasthan High Court on Tuesday stayed the CBI court’s order to send summons to the accused, including former Central Disinvestment Secretary Pradeep Baijal, by issuing arrest warrants to them. Instructed to appear before the court on 8 October to present personal bonds and surety.
Apart from accused Lazard India Ltd MD Ashish Guha and Bharat Hotels Ltd MD Jyotsna Suri – apart from Baijal – the court was asked to stay the CBI court’s interim order. Justice Dinesh Mehta also directed the petitioners not to leave India without permission and listed the matter for hearing on 15 October.
