As the Senate elections approached, Jahangir Tareen remembered

PTI lawmakers are starting to miss their party’s former secretary general and close ally of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Jahangir Tareen, as the Senate elections approach.

During the party meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, Jahangir Tareen came under discussion. PTI leader Raja Riaz Tareen came out in support and said he should be appointed chairman of the committee on Senate elections in Punjab.

Riaz further suggested that Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former Health Minister Amir Kayani and PTI Punjab President Ijaz Chaudhry should be included in the committee.

“Jehangir Tareen’s services to the party cannot be forgotten,” Riaz stressed.

Once Prime Minister Imran Khan’s close confidante and central sponsor of the PTI’s operations, the former party secretary general, according to sources, treats people in a way that is considered the prime minister’s eyes and ears. Is.

Known for his intelligence and sharp political skills, he was credited by both his allies and enemies for helping the PTI for many years when there was hardly anyone else to carry the load. He credits the party for spending its money to take advantage of the media and join other parties before the general election two years ago.

It may be mentioned here that according to the investigation report of the Federal Investigation Agency, Jahangir Tareen was involved in money laundering and sugar mill fraud. And then the PTI distanced itself from them.
