Governor Kalraj Mishra Explanation was sought on six points of the state government on Friday, when Congress MLAs staged a five-hour sit-in in the Raj Bhavan’s lawn for the Vidhan Sabha session.

The governor asked Gehlot to clarify again, his recommendation to call the session.
A statement from the Governor included questions on the free movement of MLAs and for this reason the session needed to be called immediately.
After sitting late at night, the cabinet re-met at Gehlot’s house on Saturday, approving the new draft.
Gehlot was expected to meet the Governor and submit notes to him, but the meeting was to be held till late night.
The Congress government, which is now facing a political crisis after the revolt by the sacked Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot And 18 other disgruntled MLAs say that they want to hold the session to prove its majority.
The governor asked the government on Friday why it wants to call the assembly session to prove its majority if it is already one.
Governor Mishra in his note to the state government said, “Nobody is above constitutional honor and politics of any pressure should not be resorted to.”
He said that with the government’s request, no date was stated in the cabinet note.
The governor had said that the government did not give any reason for convening the session in such a short time or proposed any agenda for it.
