Launching the portal, Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said that this will simplify the process of mutual transfer.
“Through this portal, a teacher will not have to contact the school where he is working for the No Objection Certificate,” Chatterjee told reporters.
He said that applications would be processed in a centralized manner and this would help teachers of primary, secondary and higher secondary schools to join institutions in their home district or neighboring district.
Schools in West Bengal have been closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the state government has said that the institutes will remain in place by the end of November.
