Biden says giving up on Trump’s refusal leads to ’embarrassment’

Washington: US President-Elect Joe Biden said on Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s refusal to accept defeat in the US presidential elections was an ’embarrassment’.
Speaking to Willington, Delaware, Biden said: “Well, I think it’s an embarrassment, quite frankly, the only thing is, I think it won’t help the president’s legacy .. .. I think at the end of the day. It will all begin on January 20, and between now and then there is an expectation that the American people understand that the infection has occurred. ”
He further stated that he understood the sense of loss of the people who voted for Trump, adding that most of them wanted to unite the country.
“I think they understand that we have to come together. I think they are ready to unite and I believe that we can get this country out of the bitter politics that we have seen in the last 5, 6,7 years. ”
When asked about legal action against the president, the former vice president said: “I have no need for legal action. Frankly, I think legal action happens, you are playing it out. That action. Are doing., And as yet there is no evidence of any claim made by the President or Secretary to President Pompeo. ”
When Republicans asked about Biden’s reluctance to accept the election victory, Biden said: “They will. They will.”
Biden defeated Trump in his third attempt at the White House to become the 46th president of the United States in a joint election.
However, Trump refused to accept the defeat, stating that the election was “overpopulated”, and promised legal challenges by his election campaign.
The president said that Trump’s campaign has filed several lawsuits to challenge the results in some battlegrounds. The president spent months claiming that mail-in ballots could elect fraud to spread illegal claims.
