Cadet College Sanghar’s 24th Annual Parents’ Day

Cadet College Sanghar hosted the 24th Annual Parents’ Day and Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi was the special guest.

Upon the arrival of the special guest, an active cadet of cadets saluted and presented the Guard of Honor. Addressing the function, the Naval Chief congratulated the Principal of the College, Commodore Muhammad Ashraf Bhatti for organizing the wonderful function and lauded the efforts made to make the College a distinguished and elite educational institution.

The Admiral also commended the teaching faculty, military training staff and physical training instructors for providing quality education / training to the cadets.

Earlier, the college principal presented the annual report – 2020 and highlighted the exceptional performance of cadets in the domains of academics, sports and curriculum activities.

Later, the special guest presented prizes to the winners for their outstanding overall performance during the year. Cadet Sarfraz Shah and Cadet Hassan Leghari won the highest number of Stick of Honor and Badge of Honor respectively. Cadet Abdul Manan received the Quaid-e-Azam Medal for his outstanding academic performance.

In addition, Cadet Muhammad Malik and Cadet Haroon Jan were individually named Best Rider and Best Sportsman. Cadet Imambakhsh was declared Best Debutor, Cadet Taj Mohammad was declared Best Shooter and Cadet Mohammad Daniel was declared Best Athlete. Similarly, among the teachers and staff, Mr. Muhammad Adnan received the Best Staff Officer Award, Allah Bakhsh Best Employee Award, Muhammad Nasir Tabassum Best Military Instructor Award and Taj Ali Best Employee Award. In addition, former cadets Dr Khan Muhammad Memon, Dr Sadiq Baloch and Lieutenant Usman Ali PN were awarded the Best Alumni Award for their valuable services in various domains.

During the colorful ceremony, the special guest also photographed and appreciated various science projects, arts prepared and presented by the cadets during the science and arts exhibition. The event was followed by a parade, PT show, Tiger Squad drill and tent pegging which was thoroughly enjoyed and the performance of the cadets was appreciated by all.

The ceremony was attended by senior military officers, members of the Board of Governors, college alumni and the cadet’s parents, while Cowade observed 19 SOPs.
