NEW DELHI: CBSE has decided to allow students who have shifted to their home town or other districts can now appear for the pending board examinations from that district on Wednesday. The board will notify it in the first week of June and students can apply online for a center relocation.

The decision was announced by Union Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal for students who appear for the pending 29 papers, suspended due to the outbreak of novel corona virus due to disruption and lockdown in North East Delhi. It was done.

Many students, mainly twelfth graders, traveled to distant places for coaching and usually opted for examination centers close to coaching institutes. However, he returned home due to the lockdown and had to travel back to take the board exam.

Pokhriyal said: ‚ÄúThousands of students have moved from their school district to their home districts. It also includes Navodaya and Kendriya Vidyalaya students, whom we have safely transferred to their homes. These students will be allowed to enter the district for the CBSE Board Exam 2020 pending by them. They should keep in touch with CBSE and their parent school about their current location. ”

According to CBSE secretary, Anurag Tripathi, “CBSE will notify this decision in the first week of June and students will only be allowed to apply for change in location and center.”

The minister had earlier confirmed that CBSE would allow students to appear from their own schools and not the already allotted examination centers.

Students will be required to inform their respective schools about their current location. The information will be collected by the board in the first week of June. All students should contact their respective schools and give their location information and also get the location of the schools located in their current districts.
