General Nadeem Raza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, observed the conduct of Pak-China Joint Air Exercise “Shaheen IX” at a PAF operational airbase on Saturday.
According to a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations, the exercise is aimed at further enhancing mutual cooperation between the two air forces and has provided an excellent opportunity to learn from each other’s experience.
On his arrival, Chairman JCSC was received by Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Pakistan Air Force.
Chairman JCSC appreciated the professionalism of the participants and appreciated the efforts made by PAF and People’s Liberation Army Air Force to conduct the bilateral exercise in a proper manner.
The Chief Justice also said that the exercise would further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two great countries as well as the Armed Forces of Pakistan and China.
On Friday, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa observed the Pak-China joint air exercise “Shaheen IX”.
The Shaheen IX ranks 9th in a series of joint exercises between PAF and PLAAF, which began in 2011 and is taking place alternately in Pakistan and China.
