China will attend the 17th China-ASEAN Expo in China

BeijingGao Feng, a spokesman for China’s Ministry of Commerce, said: “China will participate in the 17th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning, Guangxi Province, China from November 27-30 as a special partner.”

“We have invited 10 ASEAN countries as well as Pakistan to participate in this important event as special partners,” he told a press conference on Thursday.
He said that President Dr. Arif Ali would deliver a special message at the inauguration ceremony with the leaders of China and ASEAN countries through video link.

Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Trade, Industry and Production and Investment, Moinul Haq, Ambassador of Pakistan to China, besides senior officials and top officials will also address the Caixpo. At the invitation of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the CAEXPO Secretariat, Pakistan is for the first time a special partner country at this year’s Expo.

Pakistan’s full spectrum participation includes a dedicated country pavilion, additional booths for businesses and special trade and investment events in Pakistan to highlight opportunities for China and ASEAN countries.

Gao Feng added, “Our specially invited partners will help provide one-to-one matching services online for growing businesses between Pakistanis and Chinese buyers.”
The Pakistan Pavilion, located in the CAEXPO’s exhibition area, will display a wide range of export and cultural items, including sporting goods, sportswear, clothing, bedding, spices and food items. There will also be a prolific display of print and audio and video content at Pakistan’s tourist destinations.

In addition to pavilions, Pakistani businesses in China have set up a large number of stalls to promote their brands and products. On the spot, they will place orders for products such as wood, brass and stone crafts, onyx, precious stones, leather goods and jewelry.

On the sidelines of the Expo, Pakistan’s Missions and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) held special trade and investment promotion conferences in Beijing and Guangzhou.

The conference will highlight diversified trade prospects with China and ASEAN and mutually beneficial investment opportunities, especially in the Special Economic Zones under the CPEC.

As a longtime friend of China with close ties with ASEAN countries, Pakistan’s participation in the CAEXPO for the first time will highlight the country’s enduring efforts towards regional economic integration and results-oriented cooperation. At the same time, the dynamic strength of our businesses will be fully represented. Support.

The spokesperson said that 803 foreign booths were set up in the exhibition, which included 574 food and beverage, agricultural products, home appliances, education and tourism, investment, services and other industries from ASEAN countries.
He further said that there are 229 exhibition booths in the Belt and Road International Exhibition Area which includes 22 countries including our special partner country Pakistan.
