Congress news has said to give an affidavit of a copy-paste job to cover the incident of Hathras rape

Seeking immediate sacking of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Congress on Tuesday accused the state government of trying to “cover” the Hathras rape incident through an affidavit in the Supreme Court.

The opposition party also claimed that the affidavit appeared as a “copy paste” job, with references to cities such as the New York Police Department (NYPD), ‘Black Lives Matter’ and San Diego and Phoenix, which are in the US.

Addressing a joint press conference, Congress leaders Sushmita Dev, Rajni Patil and Supriya Srinet said the way the entire nation has witnessed the Hathras incident, and the way the victim has done injustice repeatedly.

He demanded that all the officials, including the District Magistrate of Hathras, be dismissed, alleging that they were part of a conspiracy to cover the case.

“Every step taken by the Uttar Pradesh government was to cover the Hathras incident. Today it has been revealed in the affidavit. It is not intended to be a court-monitored CBI probe, but to cover up the incident that began on 14 September, ”Dev told reporters at the Congress headquarters in Delhi.

“Close the cover.” The Congress party is firm on its demand that Yogi Adityanath should be sacked immediately. The District Magistrate and every officer who is part of this conspiracy to stop such a brutal case of rape should be dismissed and no other responsibility should be given pending investigation, ”she said.

Patil alleged that the Uttar Pradesh government termed the incident as ‘shameful’ and urged people not to allow any form of atrocities against women and to establish the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state.

Srinet said that there is no official notification for the CBI probe into the Hathras incident as the SIT investigation by the government is on.

“The way victim-shaming is being done under a conspiracy and is being trolled by the BJP and the government and the police, it should be investigated,” he said.

Shrinate also cited a change in rape laws made by the UPA government that “the presence of semen or penetration is no longer necessary” and even an attempt is considered rape.

He alleged that the state government was trying to make it a case of international conspiracy through “fabricated evidence” and caste violence.

Shrinate read parts of the affidavit that mention black people and cities such as San Diego and Phoenix, which are in the United States. It also mentions NYPD and ‘Black Lives Matter’.

Sreenet said the evidence attached in the affidavit has been “fabricated” by the Uttar Pradesh government and copied from the ‘Black Lives Movement in America’.

This whole media and opposition are asking questions and the government is talking about a cover up and international conspiracy. Stop those FIRs based on these speculations, ”she said.

Dev asked the Uttar Pradesh government to prove to the aggrieved family that the police had cremated the body in a hurry at 2.30 am.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi should sack Yogi Adityanath immediately,” he said.

The Mahila Congress chief alleged that it was “shameful” that the state government was claiming that no rape took place and that her funeral was done in front of the family with proper treatment.

“It’s a clear case of contempt of court,” she said.

Dev said that the government has cited reports that there is no sign suggesting rape, but the teenager, in announcing her death, said she was gang-raped.
