New Delhi: Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday and was admitted to Medanta Hospital.
In a tweet, Pradhan said that he has been admitted to the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.

Pradhan, 51, developed COVID-like symptoms on Monday and was tested on Tuesday.
“After seeing the symptoms of COVID-19, I tested. The report came out positive,” he tweeted. “On the advice of doctors, I am hospitalized and I am healthy.”

Sources said that Pradhan met Home Minister Amit Shah last week, who was admitted to Medanta on Sunday after testing positive for coronovirus.
His staff also tested positive earlier and has since been sidelined.
Pradhan has tested one of several high profile names which is positive.
Others include Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa and former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit has also been diagnosed with the infection and is being treated at a privately owned Cauvery Hospital.
