Tom Cruise is reportedly going into space. “For what?”, You will ask. Answer: For shooting a film. According to a report by Hacade, Mission Impossible and Top Gun Star will be flying to the International Space Station (ISS) in October 2021 aboard a SpaceX spacecraft operated by NASA astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria. For now, Cruise will be accompanied by director Doug Liman. The report is based on a tweet by the Space Shuttle Almanac, which tagged NASA astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria in the tweet.

According to the report, Michael Lopez-Alegria “currently holds American records for the number and duration of paranormal activities (EVA).” Axiom Space, which the company plans to send privately funded flights to the International Space Station, is behind conducting this mission.

Reportedly, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstein confirmed the project a few months ago. Although some may see this as a waste of resources on film actors, Bridenstein has positive things to say. The report quoted Jim Bridenstein as saying that he was inspired by Top Gun to become a Navy pilot. In the report, Breidenstein states that if Top Gun can inspire children back then, why can’t Tom Cruise on the ISS inspire the next Elon Musk?

There is another place in it which is rumored to be given to the female head in the film. The title of the film is also not yet unknown. The liftoff is still a year away.
