For the first time, the management of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has ordered the transfer of 450 employees from Karachi to Islamabad. Geo News Sources were informed on Wednesday.
According to sources, the PIA management has asked 450 employees of the flag carrier’s marketing department to shift from Port City to the capital by December 28.
According to sources, all PIA offices in Sindh, except Larkana, have been closed, adding that the officers were first transferred from Sindh to Karachi.
Sources said that now PIA has issued orders to transfer the officers from Karachi to Islamabad.
“Officers are deeply disturbed and frustrated by the sudden transfer orders,” the source added.
