Four people were killed when two boats collided in Bajaur

At least four people were killed and five others injured on the first day of Eid-ul-Adha in a collision between two boats at Raggan Dam in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, locals told the media that some inexperienced captains were carrying boats with more than a load.

More than 10 people were aboard the boat at the time of the tragedy, which claimed four lives, locals said. Rescue operations are underway to find the missing.

Bajaur District is a part of Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (KP), Pakistan. Until 2018, Bajaur was an agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Raghan Dam is a gravity dam 13 km east of Khar city in Bajaur district. The dam is 52 feet high and 200 feet long.
