Government of Odisha issues guidelines for first year admission of Plus III

BHUBANESWAR: The Higher Education Department on Monday issued a notification for the spot admission for Plus III first year courses. The government had not informed about the spot admission earlier. It has also issued guidelines for spot admissions to be held from 23 November to 27 November.

The Plus III first year admission process started from 8 September. The first and second merit lists were published on 28 September and 22 October respectively. As per the rules, if any seats become vacant after the second round selection, then entry will be held for the remaining seats on the place selection.

As per the guidelines issued by the department for spot admission in degree colleges, students who had submitted the online application form (CAF) but could not submit the fees, can participate in this process. If students fail to get admission in the first and second round, they can also apply for admission at this place.

Students selected during the first or second selection and failing to take admission can participate in this process. Those who took admission during the first or second selection but want to change the college or subject or can apply for the spot admission. Official sources said that fresh or fresh applications will not be considered.

After the second round of admission ends on November 3, the vacancy position subject will be available and 9. On November 9, Var will be classified in the department website. Students will log on to the SECS website to provide their new options for spot selection. Caf. They can submit a handwritten application in the format given by the department, CAF, mark sheet addressed to the principal of the college, where the vacancy exists.

Students can leave this application with documents in Dropbox set up in colleges between 10 November and 13 November. The college will select the names of the candidates and will appear on the college notice board on 17 November (3 pm). The data of the selected students will be uploaded in the e-space of the college by 6 pm on the same day. Students will submit the entry fee online by 21 November. Spot admission will start from November 23 and continue till November 27 (6 pm).
