Haryana School: Haryana to start schooling in July

Chandigarh: Haryana has decided to teach in schools in July and to start studying in colleges and universities in August, state education minister Kanwar Pal Gupta said.

“We will resume the schools in a phased manner by starting the teaching work for classes 6, VII, VIII and IX from July 1 onwards for classes 10, 11 and 12 after July 15,” he said.

“Classes will be held in shifts so that half of the students in one class participate in the first shift and the rest in the second grade. We are yet to fix the shift deadline,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) announced that the Class 10 results will be declared on 8 June.

Its president Jagbir Singh said that students of class 12 will have to appear for their pending examinations from July 1 to July 15.
