HDFC Bank hikes 21% to Rs 10 lakh crore by end of Q1

Mumbai: Private Sector Lender HDFC bank Its advances recorded a 21 percent increase on Saturday, to Rs 10.04 lakh crore on June 30 as compared to Rs 8.29 lakh crore a year ago and Rs 9.93 lakh crore on March 31.
The bank’s deposits on June 30 were Rs 11.89 lakh crore, up 25 per cent from Rs 9.54 lakh crore on June 30 last year and Rs 11.47 lakh crore on March 31 this year.
CASA (Current Account) saving account) Ratio was about 40 percent on 30 June this year, as compared to 39.7 percent on 30 June last year and 42.2 percent on 31 March this year.
During the quarter ended 30 June, the bank collected Rs 1,376 crore through a direct assignment route under a home loan arrangement with the Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC).
