NEW DELHI: Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs has published an advertisement in Employment News inviting applications for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-Grade-II / Executive Examination-2010.

Online applications are invited from Indian citizens for direct recruitment on 2000 ACIO-II / Exe vacancies in IB, MHA, Government of India.

IB ACIO 2020 Examination: Age Limit

The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 27 years. Upper age limit has been relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

* Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC / ST and three years for OBC candidates.
* Upper age limit has been relaxed for departmental candidates up to 40 years, who have rendered regular and continuous service for three years.
* Age limit for general candidates up to the age of 35 and widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and not remarried.
* Age limit has been relaxed for ex-servicemen as well as candidates as per rules in J&K.
* Age limit is relaxable as per rules for meritorious players up to a maximum of five years.

IB ACIO 2020 Exam: Selection Procedure

The candidate has to appear in Tier-I in one of the three centers allotted to him as per his choice from the three cities. There will be negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. No marks will be awarded for questions with no marks.

The cut-off marks (out of 100) in Tier-I examination will be as follows:

SC / ST33

Based on their performance in Tier-I examination and normalization of marks, candidates will be shortlisted for the Tier-II examination for 10 times the number of vacancies, subject to the candidate scoring the minimum cut-off.

Based on their combined performance in Tier-I and Tier-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III / Interview @ 5 times the number of vacancies subject to the condition that the candidate has a minimum of 33% marks (out of 17 Exit 50) in Tier-II examination.

Based on the combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III / Interview, the candidates will be shortlisted for their character and final selection subject for anticadent verification, followed by medical examination etc.

The application should be submitted only by logging on to the website www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in through online registration. Candidates should note that applications will not be accepted through any other mode.
