IIM-K Enters 100% Placement in Virtual Placement Drive

KOZHIKODE: The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) has seen 100% placements for 459 students who have received an average salary of Rs 22.5 lakh per year (LPA) in the placement drive.

The placement process that was performed on the virtual mode was attended by 137 recruiters, an increase of 4.6% over the previous year. The average salary for a batch is 20 LPA.

IIM-K officials said that the top 50% of students achieved an average CTC of 28.9 LPA, an increase of 8.1% from the previous year.

This year there were 51 new recruiters participating in the placement process. 32.7% of the proposals were from consulting firms, an increase of 12.5% ​​from the previous year.

In the financial sector, 21.5% of the offers were sold, while 15.2% were offered in sales and marketing and 13.8% were in general management and operations roles.
