IPL 2020, KKR vs CSK – Kolkata Knight Riders predict XI against Chennai Super Kings: Time to back Banton on Narayan – Cricket

Kolkata Knight Riders have struggled many times with their team selection and combination so far in IPL 2020. Although he has won two out of four matches and two defeats, he still needs to find his best XI. Sunil Narayan is an apology to an opening batsman and the experiment has lasted for a very long time. Shubman Gill is a better opening partner, who can share the burden in the powerplay overs and be Tom Banton for him.

IPL 2020 live score, KKR vs CSK

Shubman Gill: The youngster has looked solid so far in the tournament. In both the games KKR won, they gave a solid start and their performance against CSK will matter. Gill needs to keep the innings together and play a long innings.

Tom Banton: The young England wicket-keeper batsman has turned a blind eye in recent times. He is a dasher at the top of the order and can bat for a long time. Cricket lovers got to witness his batting in the Big Bash League last year. Banton could replace Sunil Narine, who looks off-color from both bat and ball in IPL 2020.

Nitish Rana: Nitish Rana scored a half-century against the Delhi capitals, but was unsuccessful in the East. His form is good and he has done well coming in the middle. But to reduce the pressure on the middle order they need to get a big score under their belt.

Eoin Morgan: Eoin Morgan brings experience to the middle order, but his batting irregularity led to KKR’s defeat. He swung his bat fiercely against DC and scored 44 runs from 18 balls and also pulled the Chennai bowlers fiercely. Morgan needs to be given more responsibility with the bat and he should be KKR’s regular number 4

Andre Russell: Andre Russell is due for a match-winning performance and he will be eager to deliver it against CSK.

Dinesh Karthik (C / WK): While KKR’s think tank knows exactly what it wants from Dinesh Karthik, they cannot deny the fact that the captain has been a weak link in the batting order. The team now has an international leader at Morgan and if Banton gets the game and bats well at the top of the order, Karthik will be nothing more than an obligation to his team.

Rahul Tripathi: An opener who showed that he can deliver big in the match against Delhi. While Sharjah had a quiet track with shorter boundaries, Tripathi is a reliable batsman who can give KKR’s option down and up the order if needed.

Pat Cummins: Pat Cummins is blowing hot and cold this season. He has to move forward and do well, just like Rabada is doing for the Delhi team.

Shivam Mavi: Young Indian fast bowler Shivam Mavi is bowling well. Despite a rare bad outing against DC, he can make his place in the XI. The fact that he opens the bowling with Cummins shows that he is the in-form bowler among the 4 Indian young pacers of the KKR team.

Kuldeep Yadav: Kuldeep Yadav was dropped from the team in the last game, but the Chinaman bowler should be brought back to the team as Naren will have to sit out.

Varun Chakraborty: With a good outing vs. CSK in Abu Dhabi the tweaker will look to prevent a poor performance against DC. His mystery spin has worked so far due to hsi’s great discipline.

KKR Predicted XI against CSK: Shubman Gill, Tom Banton, Nitish Rana, Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik (C / WK), Rahul Tripathi, Pat Cummins, Shivam Mavi, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy.
