Chris Gayle – The West Indies talisman was not picked in the first match against DC, but he has high chances to return to the KXIP playing XI against the old RCB. You can’t keep Gayle away from XI for two T20s, can you?

KL Rahul – The new captain has a lot on his plate. He is the captain, wicket-keeper and leading batsman of the team, which opens the batting. Karun Nair – Another main stage in Karnataka. He will be disappointed with the shot he played against DC the other night but he is a quality player and expects a strong comeback against JNB.

Jimmy Neesham – New Zealand all-rounder should replace Chris Jordan of England who struggled with the ball. Although Neesham may be an easy choice in the middle overs with his cutters and bouncers, his batting in the end can ensure the middle order of the KXIP.

Sarfaraz Khan – He has a home season and can do a great job in the middle order. Sarfaraz also played Danadan shot after performing well against DC.

K Gautham – Gautham is an easy cricketer. He gives you 3-4 overs of off-spin and can use the long handle to the end. He is sure to hold his place in the side.

Mohammed Shami – One of India’s best fast bowlers, Shami will be eager to go after producing his best IPL performance against DC on the second night. They are the biggest threat to the likes of Virat Kohli and Aaron Finch.

Ravi Bishnoi – The Indian under-19 leg-spinner was out for 1 in his IPL debut with 22 and troubled Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant with his googly. He will be up against the likes of Kohli and de Villiers, who will test him as a bowler at the highest level.
