As these two teams meet again on Friday, Mumbai is once again the most favorite. They have been impeccable this season and want to return to the top of the points table. KKR, on the other hand, have blown hot and cold and are reliant on a set of match winners that they have a good chance of.

Enjoying the fire season in Mumbai where all his batsmen and bowlers are doing one after the other. Rohit’s inconsistency at the top has led to a higher number of de Kock and the superb performance of Surya Kumar Yadav at number three has strengthened the top order. Ishan Kishan has played a good innings, while the trio of Hardik, Krunal and Pollard have ensured that MI have a mostly good time with the bat in hand.

The fast bowling trio of Bumrah, Bolt and Pattinson have been clinicalized and the lack of MI in the spin department has not been ensured.

MI’s team is hardly a chime and KKR will need a great performance from their big guns to give them a chance in this match. Russell and Morgan have to be relegated to their respective roles and a lot will depend on how Pat Cummins shapes up against a team that brought him a great return to the league this season.

Shubman Gill will be the decider at the top and KKR will be hoping that their young bowlers will come to the party. KKR need a win to consolidate their fourth slot and create a bit of a day between themselves and the struggling chasing pack.
