Vivo sub-brand iQoo Has expanded its product portfolio in China with the introduction of iQoo U1. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and features a triple rear camera setup at the rear. The handset is priced at CNY 1,198 which roughly changes to Rs 13,000 in India.
On the specifications front, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.53-inch full HD + screen with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display offers a 90.72 screen-to-body ratio and has a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. The display also has a font camera cut-out on the top left.
The iQoo U1 runs on the company’s own UI based on Android 10 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor coupled with an Adreno 618 GPU. The smartphone offers up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and boasts internal storage capacity of up to 128GB. For the selfie, the iQoo U1 smartphone has an 8MP camera with an aperture size of f / 2.0 in the front.
The iQoo U1 has a 4,500mAh battery with 18,500 fast charging support. The handset also supports OTG reverse charging. For camera duty, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera system. The setup features a 48MP main sensor with f / 1.79 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f / 2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with f / 2.4 aperture.
Available on the device are dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and a micro-USB port connectivity features.
Price and availability
There are three variants of iQoo U1. The base model packs 6GB + 64GB storage and is priced at CNY 1,198 (about Rs. 13,000). There is another variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM priced at CNY 1,398 (about Rs. 15,000). The top-end model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which can be purchased for CNY 1,598 (about Rs. 17,000). China on 23 July.
