New Delhi: Thirteen candidates secured 100 percent marks in the JEE (Main) March examination for admission to engineering programs. The number of candidates who scored 100 per cent in the February examination was six. The results were announced on Wednesday night by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The NTA will reopen the registration window on Thursday for corrections and registration for subsequent cycles of April and May and the window is likely to remain open for a week.

A total of 6.19 lakh candidates registered for the March examination and about 5.9 lakh candidates participated in the examination held from March 16 to 18, 2021. There are three candidates each from Telangana and Rajasthan who secured 100 per cent marks, including Bannuru Rohit Sharma Reddy, Madur. Adarsh ​​Reddy, Josula Venkata Aditya, and Mridul Aggarwal, Zenith Malhotra, and Rohit Kumar, respectively. There are two candidates from Delhi and Maharashtra and one each from West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Bihar, who have scored 100 percent, including Siddharth Kalra, Kavya Chopra, Bakshi Gargi Makrand, Atharva Abhijit Tambat, Brittin Mondal, Ashwin Abraham and Kumar Satyadarshi. , Respectively.

For the first time, 200-technical institutes of Uttar Pradesh will also conduct their entrance examination based on the marks of this examination.
