New Delhi: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced on Thursday that from next year the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) will be conducted in more regional languages ​​of India. The Joint Admission Board (JAB) has taken this decision in line with the new National Education Policy (NEP 2020). Presently, this national level engineering entrance exam is conducted in English, Hindi and Gujarati languages.

The Union Minister of Education took to his Twitter account to inform about the same. He wrote, “In line with the vision of # NEP2020, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) of #JEE (Main) has decided to conduct the JEE (Main) Examination in more regional languages ​​of India. @DG_NTA.”
