The Premier League club said on Wednesday that Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez is doing some fitness work.
Jimenez underwent surgery five weeks before suffering a head injury while playing in a league match at Arsenal on 29 November.
Mexico International “still has a way to go,” Valves said in his latest update on Jimenez’s status, “although they are good.”
He participated in the Wolves’ 1–1 match with Tottenham at Molineux on 27 December.
Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo has become cautious about giving a time-frame for the possible return of Jimenez, the team’s chief striker and top scorer, last season.
The Wolves have won one of their seven league games since Jimenez suffered an injury.
