Juventus fell in their first league defeat of the season as the 10-man Bianconeri lost 3–0 to Fiorentina to slip back to Serie A on Tuesday.

Dushan Valhovic got a perfect start for Fiorentina scoring a goal in the third minute. Alex Sandro’s own goal and a late effort from former Juventus defender Martin Saffron sealed the match for Fiorentina, who recorded his first win as Cesare Prandelli returned as coach.

Juventus were to play most of the match at a numerical loss after being sent to former Fiorentina winger Juan Curado in the 18th minute.

Juventus started the day in third place, four points behind Serie A leader AC Milan. But it began with a game in hand – seven points behind the match – after Napoli’s appeal to Bianconeri was upheld against a default loss.

Even after Fiorentina lost, they were seven points behind Milan but played the same match as the Rossoneri.

Milan are now the only remaining unbeaten team in Serie A.

Juventus heard the result of the appeal in Turin a few hours before kickoff. And his day went from bad to worse, when Valkoviok ran through the ball through Frank Rebri and killed Juveras’ goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Juve’s hopes of getting something from the match fell short after just an hour when Cuadrado challenged Gaetano Castrovili. The referee initially booked only Curado, but then showed him a straight red after watching the incident on video review.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored for offside at the start of the second half.

Both sides had chances to score before Cristiano Birgi’s cross bounced from the unfortunate Sandro in the 76th.

Biraghi also set up Fiorentina’s third, which rolled to the backside of the trap for Caesaris.

Junior Messis scored two goals to help Curtone defeat Parma 2–1 and go to the bottom of the table for the first time this season.

It was only Croton’s second win of the season and pushed the club to 18th place, two points from safety and three below Parma.

Both Messias goals were impressive, especially the second – an exquisite lobe on Parma goalkeeper Luigi Sepp shortly before halftime.

In the 57th, Parma was led by Juraj Kukka.
