The Kerala Technological University has asked the Commissioner for Entrance Examination not to offer candidates for selected courses in 22 engineering colleges to engineering candidates who have received such courses without approval.
The communication from the university was in the wake of an SC order which stayed the order of the Kerala High Court, which barred the university from imposing conditions for approval of new courses. The colleges had claimed that the university has no right to approve the courses once approved by AICTE. The same was approved. The variance challenged the HC order in SC.
