Kerala SSLC, VHSE exam starting today, students follow health norms

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: COVID-19 resumed in Kerala on Tuesday amid lockdown norms, secondary school leaving certificate (SSLC) and vocational higher secondary education (VHSE) examinations.

State schools maintained social security norms and other precautionary measures among the exams. It was compulsory for all students to wear a face mask, while wearing a face mask was mandatory.

Students of VHSS Mankaud High School in Thiruvananthapuram were encouraged to follow the norms of social distances, while they also underwent thermal screening before entering the examination center.

In Kerala, VHSE and SSLC examination started from today. While the VHSE is scheduled in the morning, the SSLC exam is conducted in the afternoon session.

Senior secondary examinations in the state are scheduled to start from May 27.
