Kerala University News: Ban for visitors at KU Headquarters

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In view of the increase in Kovid-19 positive cases, the University of Kerala has announced a one-week ban for visitors to the Varsity headquarters here. The ban has been imposed from 17 to 24 April in view of health advisories issued by the central and state governments.

Those who wish to contact the University Headquarters for various purposes can contact the university inquiry phone numbers from 10 am to 5 pm. Check numbers are: 9188526670, 9188526674, 9188526671, 9188526675. Meanwhile, all fees, including exam fees, can be presented using the online facility, a statement from the details given here on Friday.

Revised exam dates

The sixth semester CBCS / CR, UG degree examinations, originally scheduled to be held on April 15 and 17, have been rescheduled. Accordingly, these examinations will take place on 30 April and 3 May. Sixth-semester project reports will be submitted to the respective colleges on 10 May.

The seventh semester Integrated LLB Property Law Examination, scheduled for April 15, will be held on April 21.

Originally the fourth semester MA / MSc / M.Com / MSW / MMCJ (Regular / Supplementary / Mercy) exams which are originally scheduled to start on 22 April have been rescheduled to start on 26 April.

Second Semester Unitary LLB (three years) Special Examination

Students who could not participate in the second semester unitary (three-year) LLB degree examination held in September 2020, may appear for a special examination due to the Kovid-19 ban. Those who want to appear for the special examination, should submit the application to their respective colleges before 26 April. The application must contain a declaration by the Department of Health or the local self-government department.
