The Premier League club said on Friday that Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus and defender Kyle Walker tested positive for COVID-19.
Two other City staff members have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus, and all four are self-isolated.
“Everyone at the club wishes their partners a rapid improvement over the Christmas period before returning to work, training and competition,” a City statement said.
City, eighth in the league table, will host Newcastle United on Saturday before coming to Everton on Monday.
