The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is holding by-polls in NA-75 constituency on April 10. The National Assembly seat fell vacant following the death of PML-N lawmaker Syed Iftikhar-ul-Hassan Shah a few years ago. ۔
Now Iftikhar Hassan’s daughter Syeda Noshin Iftikhar is contesting in NA-75 by-election on behalf of PML-N. The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has fielded Ali Asjad Milli against Syeda Noshin Iftikhar in NA-75 constituency.
Earlier, the by-election in NA-75 constituency was marred by controversy on February 19 when both the PML-N and PTI had leveled allegations of violence and vote rigging against each other.
