Maryam says to go to Quetta without security clearance

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Thursday said that the Prime Minister should have gone to the protest sit-in of Hazara community in Quetta who is acting like the father of the nation, The channel reported.

Talking to media in Lahore to meet the protesting Hazaras before leaving for Quetta, Nawaz said that she would appeal to the Hazara mourners to bury the slain.

He added, “These unfortunate families are waiting for someone to come and share their grief during this ordeal.

The PML-N vice-president said that he hoped that the workers of Quetta would get justice. “I have not been given security clearance. I am going to Quetta now.

Later, the plane carrying the PML-N vice-president left Lahore airport for Quetta.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan assured the protesting Hazara families in Pakistan that he would meet them soon and urge them to bury their loved ones.

“I want to assure the Hazara families who lost their loved ones in the brutal terrorist attack in Mach that I am aware of their plight and their demands,” Imran Khan tweeted.

“The government is taking steps to prevent such attacks in the future,” he added.

It is noteworthy that 11 coal mines belonging to the Hazara community were placed at gunpoint and hanged by unknown assailants in the Machh coal field area early Sunday morning.
