Masood appeals to young people to become entrepreneurs, not job seekers

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has said that the youth of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have immense potential for business.

Incubation centers such as the National Incubation Center (NIC) are playing a key role in accelerating the business environment by bringing academies and industries closer to launch, the AJK president added. Go to his Islamabad office while talking to the administration.

The President acknowledged the highly conducive and conducive environment provided at the NIC and also lauded the national and international leadership for establishing a comprehensive ecosystem.

“Our young people should be encouraged to acquire the skills needed to become successful entrepreneurs to create more jobs for themselves and others, rather than for jobs,” he said.

“In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, we are waking up to the opportunities provided by new technologies,” Masood said. He said that public sector universities of Azad Jammu and Kashmir are offering degrees in emerging technologies like blockchain, artificial intelligence, cloud computing to name a few.

The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir said that a Business Incubation Center has been set up in Mirpur with the help of Business and Daspura community. He welcomed the inauguration of a new incubation center in Mirpur through NIC and urged him to plan another incubation center in Kotli as Kotli University specializes in information technology. “In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, we need new technologies and innovations in agriculture, waste management and tourism,” he said.

“We have a lot of challenges: first, create literacy about new technologies and their implications. Second, we need to turn these technologies into a solid product. We need to understand that How to create mass awareness for the prosperity of Pakistan and use these technologies.

Masood said, “Today we are in the age of new technology and we must understand that communication with the general public is very important to encourage and motivate students across the country and help translate our efforts into results “We have a huge pool of young people who are an asset. We have to mobilize them.”
