Messenger Screen Sharing: Facebook brings screen sharing feature in Messenger

Social media giant Facebook has announced the launch of another feature for this Messenger Applications and Messenger room. The new addition is the ability to instantly share screens with other members. With the new screen sharing feature, users can now instantly share their mobile screen with friends and family one on one or in group video calls with up to eight people in Messenger and up to sixteen in Messenger room.
Facebook says that the new screen sharing feature is meant to help people stay connected in more ways than before and the new screen sharing feature will bring people closer.
Screen sharing feature update is currently rolling out for Messenger. It is now available globally on the latest versions of Messenger’s Android and iOS apps, desktop apps and the web. To download the latest version of the app, users can visit the respective App Store and see the update.
Facebook has also confirmed that it plans to increase your number of screen sharing with up to 50 people in the Messenger Room in the future. In addition, the Facebook room creator will soon have the option to set a limit on whether the shared screen will be visible to all participants, or just when creating a new room or during an ongoing call.
For those unaware, Facebook also plans to integrate its service that will allow cross-messaging between the three platforms – WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. Although all three will still serve as standalone apps, this will allow users to talk to their Messenger friends within the other two apps and vice versa.
