Mumbai: The University of Mumbai announced the results of 9,000 MCOM students on Thursday, as well as the final year students of the institute’s Open and Distance Learning (IDOL) BA and B.Com. The examination for distance education students was interrupted in the first week of October following an alleged cyber attack on the server. Eventually he was held three weeks later.
Nearly 9,000 students appeared for the final-year MCOM examination from the university and its affiliated colleges, of which 95% passed. From IDOL, more than 87% of 6,000 TYBCom students passed and TYBA students had a success rate of over 90%. Results of MA are awaited.
The university had postponed the IDOL examinations and issued a new tender to engage a new third-party service provider. The examinations were then scheduled in the last week of October. The university has so far declared the results of 206 examinations. While there is no clarity on the winter session of the exam, the university has started asking for exam forms.
