The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday arrested one of the sons of the late PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim in Karachi on corruption charges, 24 News HD TV channel reported on Thursday.
Makhdoom Jalil al-Zaman, commonly known as Makhdoom Habibullah, was arrested in Bahria Town. He is accused of embezzling millions of rupees during Musharraf’s tenure as Talal Nazim.
The latest arrest comes a day after an accountability court in Rawalpindi sentenced a former PML-N member of the provincial assembly to 10 years in prison without a case.
In addition, the court also imposed a fine of Rs 50 million on Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz, against whom a reference was filed in 2002.
