Narendra Modi: Resolve to conserve biodiversity: PM Modi on World Environment Day | India news

He wrote on Twitter, “On WorldwideDay, we reiterate our pledge to preserve the rich biodiversity of our planet.
“We can leave the planet even better for generations to come,” he said.
Modi also shared a brief video of his latest “Mann Ki Baat” program in which he mentioned World Environment Day.

“The theme of this year is biodiversity … (It) is particularly relevant in current circumstances. The pace of life may have slowed a bit during the lockdown in the last few weeks, but it has also given us an opportunity to introspect. There is a rich diversity of nature or biodiversity around us, ”he said.
Most of the avian organisms had disappeared due to noise and air pollution, and now years later people can once again hear sweet chirping in their homes, Modi said.
He had also said to save rainwater that traditional conservation methods are in the form of very simple measures, and that by implementing them “we can tap the water”.
He also urged people to plant trees and take resolutions so that a daily connection with nature can be forged.
