Raipur RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat The traditions of India on Sunday, among other factors, enabled the believers to fulfill the resolve to make the country self-sufficient without any difficulty.
Bhagwat, who arrived here on Saturday evening on a two-day visit, spoke to RSS officials Chhattisgarh Mahakaushal province (region) in Jagriti Mandal, Chhattisgarh province publicity chief of RSS Surendra Kumar said.
The RSS chief stressed the need to strengthen the rural economy and said that overall efforts are underway to make the country self-reliant and self-sufficient.
At the end of the meeting, quoting Bhagwat, Kumar said, “India’s climate, land, beliefs, traditions and strength are so high that if we take a pledge, there is no difficulty in making the country self-reliant.”
The head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh said, looking at self-respect and self-reliance, as an individual and as a group we will all fulfill our responsibilities to make our country self-reliant.
“If we develop all the necessary things necessary to make the country self-sufficient in our personal and public life, then this country will once again emerge to inspire the world to walk in the right direction,” Bhagwat said.
He said that overall efforts are going on to make the country self-reliant.
Bhagwat said, “There is a need to strengthen the rural economy and encourage cottage industries. A sense of Swadeshi has emerged among the people.”
The meeting also discussed the work being done by the RSS towards the environment, creating social harmony and rural development and other issues, Kumar said.
He said Sangholo officials explained in detail the work being done for migrant laborers during the coronovirus crisis.
Earlier in the day, Bhagwat planted a plant in the premises of Jagriti Mandal, Kumar said.
