Novel corona virus can survive on skin for up to 9 hours: study

New Delhi: The SARD COVE 2 virus, which causes Quard-19, can be delayed on human skin for up to nine hours, according to a study. It’s a long, long, long, long, long sound.
In contrast, the influenza A virus (IAV) remained effective on human skin for about two hours, according to researchers at the Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in Japan.
The study, published in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases, found that both viruses were rapidly inactivated with skin hand sanitizers.
The findings highlight the importance of hand washing or the use of sanitizers to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Considering the risks of going viral to humans, the stability of SARS-2 on human skin is unknown, the researchers said.
“We have developed a model that allows safe reproduction of medical studies on the use of pathogens on human skin and clarifies the stability of SARS-Co-2 on human skin,” the researchers wrote in the journal.
They examined the stability of SARS-2 and IAV on the surface of human skin, mixed with mucus in the middle or upper respiratory tract.
The researchers also examined the effect of 80% ethanol on skin disinfection against SARS-CoV-2 and IAV.
the study SARS-COVI-2 and IAV have been found to deactivate more quickly on skin surfaces than on other surfaces such as stainless steel, glass and plastic.
According to the researchers, the survival time was significantly longer for SARS-CoV-2 – 9 hours than for IAV (1.82 hours).
“The nine-hour survival of SARS-2 on human skin may increase the risk of contact transmission compared to IAV, thus accelerating infectious diseases,” the researchers wrote in the journal.
“Proper hand hygiene is essential to prevent the spread of SARS cove to infection,” he said.
