Exams will be held everyday in shift. Three shifts are planned for each day of the exam. OJEE President SK Chand said, “Shift wise complete schedule of examination and other information will be displayed in the official website of OJEE (www.ojee.nic.in/www.odishajee.com) by the end of September.”
OJEE is conducted every year for the purpose of conducting General Entrance Examination for admission to undergraduate, (UG) / postgraduate (PG) level business courses in the state including B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, MARH, MPLAN, MPharma and BPharma. is.
The government will conduct Computer Based Examination (CBT) for all courses from this year. Last year, OJEE conducted CBT for all PG courses only. This year, it will combine both PG and UG courses for CBT. The delay in announcing the exam dates left the candidates in a state of confusion about the certainty of the entrance exam.
Keeping the situation in mind, the government has also decided not to conduct the second OJEE test this year. But it will organize a special OJEE for admission to BTech courses. Candidates who could not appear in JEE (Main) can appear in the examination.
Usually, students travel to big cities to appear in OJEE examinations. But this year, OJEE officials have decided to open examination centers at a few more places to reduce the load on larger centers and cut the travel time of candidates. The government has opened three out of state and 21 in-state centers for candidates. These centers were Ranchi in Jharkhand, Patna in Bihar and Kolkata in West Bengal. No OJEE centers have been opened outside the state since 2014.
