Pakistan again confirms its wicked status

Let’s Start this Interesting Article Shared on

Pakistan continues to dismiss the sentiment of the ICJ’s decision in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case, Islamabad has now said that the Indian citizen has refused to file a review petition against his death sentence and only complied with his mercy petition Wants to do

The ICJ last year called on Pakistan to reconsider and reconsider Jadhav’s sentence. It will be recalled that Jadhav was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of espionage and terrorism – charges that were given without any concrete evidence.

The ICJ also directed Pakistan to give India’s consular access to Jadhav. Islamabad did this once, but under extremely harsh circumstances. Taken together, Jadhav was neither admitted for a fair trial in Pakistan nor given an opportunity to appeal his sentence.

Pakistan is now saying that it does not want to appeal, which is part of a narrative Islamabad is making that Jadhav has confessed to his crime. In the circumstances he is in, there is no way Jadhav has a free voice and is just leaving with his captain.

It is clear that Pakistan is just following the ICJ decision. It will not give Jadhav a fair trial and is acting strictly with the international court. The entire case again highlights the wicked state of Pakistan. Islamabad has no respect for international norms and remains a security threat to the entire region. Should Jadhav’s execution eventually be executed, Pakistan should be considered as a state by the international community.
