He was addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Monday along with National Security Adviser Moeed Yousaf and senior police officials.

FM Qureshi said he spoke to his Afghan counterpart this morning and discussed the steps taken by the Pakistani government to investigate the matter so far. He added that the investigation into the matter would be transparent and nothing would be hidden.

He reiterated that the Afghan government should reconsider its decision to expel its ambassadors and diplomats from Pakistan, adding that it would co-operate with Pakistan if it wanted the investigation to be transparent. Will be.

“Pakistan wants to arrest and punish the alleged perpetrators of the kidnapping as soon as possible,” the foreign minister said. “I told the Afghan ambassador that we are aware of the security concerns that are causing it, so we have improved the security of all Afghan diplomats.”

Evidence cannot be corroborated by impression given about kidnapping: IG Islamabad

Speaking during a press conference, Inspector General Islamabad Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman said police had formed five teams to investigate the “kidnapping” of the Afghan ambassador’s daughter.

Giving details of the ongoing investigation, the IG said that the investigation teams examined more than 700 hours of video surveyed by 300 cameras, while more than 220 people were interrogated.

“We traced the entire route that the Afghan ambassador’s daughter traveled and tracked down the two taxi drivers who chased her away,” he said.

After taking a taxi from Rana Market, the woman first left her residence and walked for a while. He said the driver confirmed that he had taken the ambassador’s daughter to Khada Market.

From there, he hired another taxi to Saddar, Rawalpindi. He will then take another taxi to Daman Mountain.

“We have traced the driver of the taxi as well as the owner of the taxi and they have confirmed that they left him on Daman Koh. From there he hired another taxi to go to F-Tax Park. But briefly stopped at F-6, “the IG said.

The IG said that after three days of hard work and constant surveillance, the police had traced the entire route taken by the ambassador’s daughter. All CCTV cameras in Rawalpindi have been checked.

He added that the evidence gathered by the police did not support the impression that he had been abducted.

‘Hybrid war against Pakistan’

Addressing a press conference, NSA Yousuf said that the government has repeatedly reiterated that Pakistan is a target of hybrid warfare. Which was unveiled last year by the European Union’s Disno Lab.

“The EU’s Disono Lab exposed India’s tactics against Pakistan,” the NSA said, adding that there were trends against Afghanistan and India.

The NSA noted that a fake photo of the Afghan ambassador’s daughter was shared on Twitter by verified Indian accounts. “We are monitoring these trends […] But every time we report them, new trends emerge. “
