Pune International Center to organize its 8th National Conference on Social Innovation

Pune: Pune International Center (PIC) held its eighth National Conference on Social Innovation (NCSI) with National Innovation Foundation and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai on Friday 4 December between 3:30 pm and 6.30 pm Have done 5 pm and Saturday 5 December from 3 to 6.30 pm. Participation for pre-registration is free and open to all.

The 8th National Conference on Social Innovation organized by PIC will recognize 18 social innovators from urban, rural and tribal categories out of 100 entries in various fields including education, health and environment. There will be 6 innovators in each category, out of which 1 winner will be chosen from each category. The winners will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 50,000.

In a two-day online program, Dr. RA Mashelkar, President, PIC, Drs. Several dignitaries including Vijay Kelkar, Vice President, PIC, Prashant Girbhan, Hon. Director, PIC and Abhay Vaidya, ASO. Director, PIC. Shrikant Vaidya, President, Indian Oil Corporation, Vijay Mahajan, CEO and Director, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies, Prakash Apte, Chairman, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Vipin Kumar, Director, National Innovation Foundation and Dr. Kiran Kulkarni, The Director will be present at the Urban Development Conference.
