Providing details, Punjab School Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla stated that after reviewing the critical situation due to the spread of COVID-19 epidemic in Punjab, the Department of Education has decided to give them a limited time relief. He said that due to the spread of coronavirus, the issue of sympathetic expansion has been dealt with by the Department of Education. The cabinet minister said that the safety and safety of school going children is a top priority of the Punjab government and will not be compromised at any cost.
He directed the officers of the Education Department to conduct surprise inspections of the affiliated schools in their respective jurisdictions regularly to ensure the safety of the students.
He asked the management of affiliated schools to strictly follow the instructions of the Department of Education to prevent disciplinary action.
